HMFIC clothing co. is a clothing label based in Camden (NSW) and Coolum Beach (QLD). We started out as a hobby to fill in some time on Sunday afternoons. Now we have no time on Sunday afternoons, so we do all of our planning before breakfast on Tuesdays and after dinner on Thursdays. We are looking at expanding soon to lunchtime on Mondays. As you could imagine things are quite busy.
In all seriousness, HMFIC clothing co. is a small customer focused operation that we want to build into a lot more than just a hobby.
We like to keep things as simple as possible. That's why we don't have a big flashy website and glossy catalogues. We feel that people will like our gear for what it is, not because of all the manufactured coolness that could surround it.
We feel that the skate/surf thing has been done to death recently, that's why we plan to focus on other areas. Namely we plan to have a strong focus on music. For example we have plans in the pipeline to launch our bandmerch division in the coming months with strong focus on small indy bands who can't afford to have a huge run of merch printed. summer.7.8 is the sixth range for HMFIC clothing co. and is our best and biggest effort yet. From a humble start in August '04 selling fifty shirts to family and friends, we have built a loyal following and have expanded our customer base to all corners of the country, whilst having only very limited exposure to retail outlets.
